Special Considerations

Trade Shows

Carnets are typically limited to six months from the date of entry even though the Carnet may be valid for one year. Request from China customs an extension of the six months, or re-export the goods to a neighboring country and then re-enter China, as necessary.

All vehicles traveling to China on an ATA Carnet requires a minimum of 100% Security deposit.
