Advisory:

German customs typically grant the validity period of a Carnet for live animal(s) based on the duration of a health certificate.  If the duration of a health certificate is three months, the German customs will restrict the entry of the live animal(s) to three months. Check #2, “Final Date” on the importation counterfoil to determine the date by which the live animal(s) must be re-exported.
