Mr. Parrett completed his term as global CEO of Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu in May 2007, capping a 40-year career with Deloitte. He co-founded Deloitte’s Global Financial Services Industry practice and served as its first chairman.  Mr. Parrett continues his active involvement in global business as a board member of the Blackstone Group and Eastman Kodak Company.

A longtime advocate of community service, Mr. Parrett currently serves as chairman of the board of the United Way of America and as a trustee of the Catholic University of America.  In addition, he leaves a legacy of service, having served on the board of trustees of Carnegie Hall, the national advisory board of the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center and the Committee to Encourage Corporate Philanthropy.  In the business sphere, Mr. Parrett has served on the boards of the Japan Society and the U.S.-Japan Business Council and as a member of the Transatlantic Business Dialogue and an international councillor for the Center for Strategic & International Studies.
