Monday, November 2, 2020, 7am – 9am EST – Virtual Business at OECD Trade Committee Meeting

• Please find attached the draft agenda for the upcoming Business at OECD Trade Committee session, as well as the summary record of the April 2020 meeting.
• Following the Business at OECD discussion on Building Resilience in Global Supply Chains in the context of the pandemic that took place on October 6, this session will be an opportunity to prepare for the OECD meetings and fine tune any business messaging in this regard. Further, the meeting will feature an introductory discussion on trade and climate change, which was originally foreseen for the spring meeting, but was then agreed to be postponed in light of the early coronavirus phase.

• The OECD will present its key messages and discuss with delegates actions that governments and the private sector can take to promote more resilient global supply chains with a view to ensuring that trade and investment are an engine of a strong, sustainable, resilient and inclusive recovery. Wednesday, November 4, 2020, 7am – 8:10am EST – OECD Trade Committee plenary session

• The meeting will include sessions on ongoing and planned G20 and G7 activities, post-accession reporting on Colombia, updates on the OECD’s programme of work and budget and communications activities. Please find the draft meeting agenda attached.
