UN Forum on Business and Human Rights
November 29, 2021 - December 1, 2021
|The United Nations Forum on Business and Human Rights is right around the corner. This year’s session will be held virtually, from November 29 – December 1.
|The United Nations Forum on Business and Human Rights is the world’s largest annual gathering on business and human rights that regularly attracts over 3,000 participants to its physical sessions in Geneva from governments, businesses, community groups and civil society, law firms, investor organisations, UN bodies, national human rights institutions, trade unions, academia and the media. In 2021, due to the ongoing travel and safety constraints imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic, the 10th annual Forum will be held virtually and with a varied agenda of thematic and regionally focused sessions. The virtual Forum will enable new global audiences to view and engage with the Forum this year.
Over three days, from 29 November to 1 December 2021, recognizing that this year marks the 10th anniversary of the Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, participants will take part in over 25 virtual sessions to discuss current business-related human rights issues under the overall theme of “The next decade of business and human rights: increasing the pace and scale of action to implement the Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights”. The concept note for this year event and further information is available on the Forum website.
